THE RUNNING HORSE GALLERY: SONGS OF ORDINARY MADNESS

Photobucket

Very excited to get feedback on my first fibre optic taxidermy artwork made specifically for The Running Horse Gallery's show "Songs of Ordinary Madness" that opened just the other week!

The artwork is titled "Midnight Shakes The Memory" and if you're based in Beirut you should check out my work in person as the fibre optics change shade etc.

Description: dyed pink taxidermy pigeon with oversized hematite eyes vomiting white fibre optic light from it's mouth, set on custom made plinth

WEDDING BAND

My dear friends Felicity and Bill were married on May 11th, and asked me to make them a wedding band to fit/match Felicity's engagement ring that I made for her last year.

After lots of consulting with the bride to be, we decided to make the wedding band out of an 18ct yellow gold to set off the 18ct red gold engagement ring. Felicity also wanted some sparkle, so I set an assortment of black and white diamonds on the top half of the ring. Forging the band took quite a bit of sculpting, as I wanted to make sure the two rings fit perfectly together... but if I dare say so... all my hard work paid off!

Check out these bad boys:
